Terms of Service

1. Use of the App

JewMORE provides Jewish educational content including Torah lessons, how-to guides, prayers, blessings, and Jewish calendar information. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App

2. Accounts

You may create an account using email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account.

You may also use the App as a guest with limited features. Guest usage does not save progress or learning streaks.

3. Premium Subscription

JewMORE Premium is available as a monthly subscription at $4.99/month. Premium features include:

• Audio narration for all lessons
• Full step-by-step guides with Hebrew prayers and translations
• Ad-free experience
• Exclusive premium content

Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Free trial: If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to text, translations, transliterations, commentary, graphics, and design — is the property of JewMORE or its content providers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Traditional Jewish texts (Torah, prayers, blessings) are in the public domain. Our original commentary, translations, lesson content, and app design are proprietary.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our original content without prior written permission.

5. Religious Content Disclaimer

JewMORE provides educational content about Jewish traditions, practices, and texts. Our content is designed to be accessible and informative but should not be considered a substitute for guidance from a qualified rabbi or Jewish authority.

Jewish practice varies across denominations and communities. We strive to present content that is broadly applicable, but specific practices may differ in your community. When in doubt, consult your local rabbi.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and hosting
• Hebcal API: Jewish calendar data and Shabbat times
• Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases and subscriptions

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

While we strive for accuracy in our Jewish calendar data and content, we do not guarantee the accuracy of candle lighting times, holiday dates, or other time-sensitive information. Always verify important times with your local community.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JewMORE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data or inaccurate calendar information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
